Urania Ripheus Butterfly Wing Sterling Silver Earrings

These sterling silver earrings are crafted with real butterfly wings, sustainably collected by an indigenous community in Peru after the butterfly’s natural life cycle has ended. These earrings are double-sided! The first two photos are the front of the earrings; the third and fourth photos show the back of the earrings. Your purchase of these butterfly wing earrings will support habitat preservation in the Amazon rainforest. Each pair is handmade in Peru.

Butterfly Species: Urania Ripheus (aka Madagascan Sunset). Order: Lepidoptera. Habitat: Madagascar.

Size: Wing: 3/4″ long x 5/8″ wide x 1/8″ thick. Hook is 3/4″. Total length including hook: 1-1/2″.

Please note, to keep the earrings in good condition, avoid submerging them in water or leaving them in direct sunlight, as this may cause discoloration and damage to the butterfly wings.
